Wendtoday is an unofficial, independently operated guide for people who want a small Wend hint, a checked answer, or a route they can inspect without seeing every spoiler at once.
What the site provides
A player-first answer, not a copy of the official experience
The current page combines a letter-grid interface, progressive hints, optional answer reveals, path checks, and original edition-specific explanations. Completed editions move into a dated archive so a visitor can verify the exact day they searched for. The site also links to the official game for anyone who wants to play it on LinkedIn.
Wendtoday does not use LinkedIn’s logo or visual design, does not claim to publish Wend, and does not ask visitors to treat its explanations as official commentary.
How publication works
Daily facts must pass a repeatable verification gate
A new edition is published only after its date, puzzle number, grid, answers, and route indexes agree across an official public source and an independent source. Local validation then checks that every route stays on the board, moves only orthogonally, spells the saved answer, avoids blocked cells, and covers the open grid exactly once.
If those checks fail or the sources disagree, the site withholds the answer. It does not publish a likely word, reuse yesterday’s result, or ask an AI model to guess missing puzzle facts.

Explanations are built from the checked edition
Each dated guide adds its own spoiler controls, route narration, board measurements, solving approach, verification notes, and frequently asked questions. Generated prose is constrained to the verified facts for that edition and checked for unsupported claims, excessive template overlap, and repeated long passages before publication.
Word count is not treated as proof of value. The useful result is the combination of a verified record, a usable interface, optional spoilers, and an explanation that lets a player audit the route rather than accept an unexplained answer.
